Part IV, Final
“The Virgin Mary – What About Her?”
Prayers and the Concluding Remarks
Our prayers through Mary do not reach Christ, much less God.
Only our prayers through Christ and only if they are according to the will of God will reach God.
It is true that if you pray to a rock in whatever form, to help you find a job or get over an illness, and you have enough faith, it shall be so. Well, it will be so, but it is not the rock or it’s form that makes it happen, it is you with and by your strong faith.
Haven’t you heard of atheists, those who do not believe in God? How that because of their faith in themselves and their activities they have success?
God established or decreed and declared that to the man of flesh should be done according to his own faith.
Matthew 9:29 KJV - Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
Matthew 17:20 KJV - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Nothing is impossible within the realm that God has authorized for the natural man. If you pray for Saint Christopher, if indeed he existed but has died, to take you on a safe trip, it will be a safe trip if you have faith that it will be and you drive carefully and do not take any chances. Truthfully, Saint Christopher has nothing to do with the results of your trip. It will be your attitude.
What God wants is that through and by Jesus Christ you ask Him for your necessities and have faith that He will provide what is best for you at that time.
James 1:5-8 KJV - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (6) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. (7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. (8) A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
THE CONCLUSION
The Virgin Mary is in a death state or separated from her fleshly body and from the living of this earth. She, as all other Christians, are in a resting condition, and none will come forth from that until Jesus Christ comes to receive those who are alive in Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:10 KJV - (10) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
Only Christ has been resurrected and He is the only mediator between man and God. No mediator is needed between Christ and man since the Holy Spirit dwells in those who have obeyed the true and complete gospel.
2 Timothy 2:19 KJV - Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
God has established for man in the carnal state to have some power over his carnal condition and if he has the faith he will succeed in his efforts. It is not the saints, Christians, who are in a state of death, who have died, and no rocks, medals, images, or paintings that give answers to prayers of the carnal man. But carnal man himself by faith brings about much of what he wishes in the flesh. I am a mediator between people and God because as others, I pray for them and I have a covenant relationship with God. As others have, I have obeyed and continue to obey the true and complete gospel of Christ.
But I am alive and active in the vineyard of the Lord, the church. Mary, or any other who has died, is not.
Faith in yourself and in the plans you make will be what answers your prayers for your fleshy state.
The faith that saves us from the condemnation of our sins is different. It is based on the Word of God, the Bible, and on God’s doing what he said he would do to save us. We must hear the pure Word of God, not mixed with man’s private interpretations (2nd Peter 1:20) or man’s philosophies or opinions.
We must believe the gospel, repent (change the way we think and act), confess our faith in Christ before witnesses, and be baptized.
Mark 16:16 KJV - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Acts 2:38 KJV - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I pray to God and through Jesus Christ to give wisdom and open the understanding of nthose who read this article.
Luke 24:45 KJV - Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
Only God can give the understanding of His will.
May God bless you with it.
